Private Swim Lessons
Private lessons are ideal for infants and students who are not yet water-safe or require individual attention. They are also suitable for older students experiencing significant anxiety or behavioral challenges that make group lessons difficult. Once a student's comfort level improves, they can transition to group lessons with confidence. Learn more
Class Size: 1 x 1
Duration: 20 min
Group Swim Lessons
This lesson format is designed for children at the Floaters level or higher. It provides an optimal structure for most students, grouping swimmers of similar ability, age, and temperament to ensure each lesson is both enjoyable and effective. Children aged 4 and up are encouraged to join. Learn more

Pre-Team Program
For swimmers who have completed all eight levels of the SwimRight® Method, the Pre-Team program focuses on endurance and introduces more competitive techniques. This prepares swimmers for joining a swim team, emphasizing proper technique and readiness for the next level of swimming.

Dryland: 30 min
Swim Practice: 1 hr
Stroke Development
These classes bridge the gap between traditional swim lessons, where the instructor is in the water, and pre-swim team training, where the coach is on the deck. By the end of this curriculum, swimmers will confidently perform all four strokes and complete starts and turns used in competitive swimming.
Class Size: 6 x 1
Duration: 30 min
Parent-Tot Program
For children under 2 years old, this program helps create comfort in the water while strengthening the parent-child bond. Parents learn how to correctly support their child in the water, safely guide them underwater, and understand the importance of the back float. This class uses songs and games to introduce concepts that will be developed in future lessons. Learn more
PT Trial Class
Designed for families new to the Parent-Tot program, this trial class explains the structure and teaching methods used in our infant swim program. It also provides an opportunity to observe how your child responds to water while trying out a few of the skills taught in the class.
Class Size: 6 x 1
Duration: 30 min
Beginner PT Class
This introductory class focuses on the foundational skills taught in the first level of the SwimRight® Method. Parents actively participate in teaching their child swimming basics and water safety, using songs and games to make learning enjoyable.
Class Size: 8 x 1
Duration: 30 min
Advanced PT Class
For parents looking to advance their child’s progress, this class focuses on second-level skills within the SwimRight® Method. The child begins to swim more independently while the parent remains in the water for support.
Class Size: 6 x 1
Duration: 30 min
Adult Swim Classes

How Do I Enroll in Rancho Park?
Enrolling at SwimRight Academy is straightforward — even if you’re coming from Rancho Park. Here’s how we make it easy for families like yours:
1. Book a free trial class
All new swimmers start with a free 20–30 minute trial at our West LA pool. It’s just 3.8 miles from Rancho Park — a quick drive via Pico Boulevard or the 10 Freeway.
2. Get a skill assessment
During the trial, our instructor will evaluate your child’s comfort level in the water and recommend the right class level — private, group, Parent-Tot, or stroke development.
3. Pick a schedule that works for your Rancho Park routine
We offer lessons from morning until evening, seven days a week. Many Rancho Park families choose afternoon slots right after school (from Overland Avenue or nearby schools).
4. Start swimming weekly
Once enrolled, your child will make steady progress with the same instructor and small class sizes.
💡 Even if your child is nervous or has never been in a pool, the free trial is pressure-free. No commitment — just a chance to see if we’re a good fit.
