How Do I Enroll?
You’re closer than you think. Here’s how to get started — from your first drive to your weekly routine.
Step 1 – Book a free trial class
All new swimmers start with a free 20–30 minute trial at our West LA pool. It’s the best way to see our facility, meet an instructor, and let your child experience the water — no pressure, no commitment.
Step 2 – Take the Venice Blvd test drive
We encourage Mar Vista families to try the route during the time you’d actually come for lessons (e.g., Saturday 9 AM or Wednesday 4 PM). You’ll likely be surprised how smooth it is.
Step 3 – Get your child’s skill assessment
During the trial, our instructor will evaluate your child’s comfort level and recommend the right class — private, group, Parent-Tot, or stroke development.
Step 4 – Choose a schedule that fits Mar Vista life
We offer lessons 7 days a week, from 9 AM to 8 PM (8 AM on weekends). Many Mar Vista parents choose:
Saturday mornings (after Mar Vista Farmers’ Market)
Weekday late afternoons (after school at Coeur d’Alene or Grand View)
Tuesday/Thursday evenings (when traffic on Venice is lightest)
Step 5 – Watch your child become a confident swimmer
Once enrolled, you’ll have a weekly rhythm that adds maybe 25 minutes of driving round trip — a small investment for a lifetime skill.

Places we Serve
Mar Vista is one of our favorite communities — it’s family‑friendly, central, and surprisingly close to our West LA pool. While we don’t have a facility inside Mar Vista itself, we welcome families from every corner of the neighborhood.
We regularly serve students from:
– Mar Vista Gardens
– The area near Mar Vista Park & Recreation Center
– Venice Blvd corridor (east of Centinela)
– Grand View Boulevard
– Rose Avenue
– Near Coeur d’Alene Avenue Elementary
– The Mar Vista Arts District (yes, that’s a thing!)
– Adjacent parts of Del Rey and Palms
Not on the list? Call us at (323) 525-0323. From Mar Vista, you’re likely 10–12 minutes from our door — often less than driving to the beach.
