Level 7
OBJECTIVE:
Fully develop freestyle and backstroke strokes. Begin stroke development for breaststroke and butterfly. Ensure swimmer no longer needs hands-on instruction.

Freestyle

1 arm pull with opposite arm down. No pause on the side (1 arm each direction)

1 arm pull with opposite arm up. No pause on the side (1 arm each direction)

Superman 6 count switch. Alternate side breathing drill in superman position

Superman catch up. Alternating breaths every 3 strokes

Backstroke

Streamline kick with object on forehead

6 count rotation. Arms in soldier position, rotating shoulders and hips

Backstroke

Backstroke with 6 and 4 count hesitations and rotations

Wall breaststroke kick

Breaststroke kick on back with arms at sides
